Help Members Hit the Road with Confidence

As a Tire and Battery Advisor at Sam's Club, you’ll be the go-to expert helping members find the right tires and batteries for their vehicles. From recommending the best products to scheduling installations, your knowledge and service will keep members safe and rolling.

In this role, you’ll spend your day assisting members with tire and battery purchases, monitoring orders and appointments, maintaining a safe and organized sales floor, and delivering expert service that keeps members coming back.

• Maintain facility and sales floor safety by adhering to all safety policies, conducting regular safety sweeps, and promptly correcting or reporting unsafe situations to management
• Ensure the Tire and Battery Center sales floor is organized, stocked, zoned, and merchandised according to company policies
• Present and maintain merchandise by stocking, setting up displays, signing and pricing appropriately, and securing high-shrink merchandise
• Monitor the status of tire and battery orders daily and assist members with appointments for installation
• Communicate lead time changes and order cancellations to members and make alternative suggestions for installation or tire fitments
• Assist members with tire maintenance and repair services
• Use Sam's Garage, product knowledge, and reference materials to recommend the safest and most suitable tire and battery products
• Triage and prioritize service workflow in TBC service bays, understanding time requirements and maximizing service efficiency
• Leverage technology and handheld devices to plan sales, improve the service experience, and make real-time business decisions
• Operate hardware, process member purchases, and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges
• Serve as a brand advocate by modeling high quality service and products in the TBC area

• Have knowledge of or interest in tires, batteries, and automotive products
• Keep member satisfaction as a top priority
• Thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
• Are comfortable using technology and point-of-sale systems
• Have strong interpersonal skills and can handle challenging situations with professionalism
• Demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Are available for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays
