Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in carpentry and woodworking, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality finishes in residential and commercial projects. This role requires proficiency in various carpentry techniques, including cabinet installation, flooring installation, and restoration work. The Finish Carpenter will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project specifications.
- Perform precise measurements and cutting of materials for cabinetry, trim work, and other finish carpentry tasks.
- Install cabinets, moldings, doors, windows, and other fixtures with attention to detail.
- Execute restoration projects including refinishing woodwork and repairing damaged structures.
- Conduct flooring installation including hardwood, laminate, and tile laying.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks.
- Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing and electrical teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in estimating materials needed for projects and managing inventory.
- Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter or similar role in construction or woodworking.
- Solid skills in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans.
- Familiarity with concrete forming, masonry techniques, roofing practices, caulking methods, and siding installation is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other carpentry equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job tasks.
- Previous maintenance person experience is a plus; knowledge of plumbing or electrical systems is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $25.00-$37.00 per hour
