We are seeking a CAD Drafter with a background in manufacturing utilizing Solid Works to support our continued growth. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, innovative, and enjoy solving design challenges in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

• Collaborate with the CAD Lead and engineering team to maintain and develop CAD models, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
• Create, update, and manage multi-level assemblies, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and production-ready CAD files.
• Support the production team with accurate and updated CAD documentation and assist with implementation on the shop floor.
• Contribute to process improvements in both the CAD system and manufacturing workflows.
• Design and understand components related to plumbing, electrical systems (12V/120V/240V), and structural assemblies using various materials (steel, aluminum, wood, composites, plastics).

• Proficient in Solid Works to include layouts, models, assemblies, BOMs, drawings including file management.
• Familiarity with Solid Works PDM utilizing Copy Tree for design replication.
• Knowledge of manufacturing components and processes is a plus.
• Experience in modeling techniques such as Skeleton Modeling, Multibody, Save Bodies, and both Top-Down and Bottom-Up assembly structures.
• Comfortable working with a variety of materials and manufacturing techniques.
• Experience with CAD related CNC programming is a bonus but not required.

• Prior CAD drafting experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Solid Works experience required.
• A portfolio showcasing relevant CAD/design work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Starting at $60,000/year, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Compensation is based on several factors including responsibilities, industry benchmarks, and skill level.

• Office hours Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm
