We are currently seeking reliable, team-oriented Dietary Aides to join our Dietary Services team. This position plays an important role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents by supporting meal service, sanitation, and kitchen operations.

Compensation & Incentives- Pay Range: $11.50–$13.00 per hour (based on experience)
- $500 Sign-On Bonus (paid out bi-weekly)

The Dietary Aide assists with meal preparation, tray assembly, dining service, and sanitation to ensure residents receive safe, nutritious meals in a clean and welcoming environment. This role works closely with the Dietary Team to support efficient kitchen operations and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare meal trays, food carts, and dining areas prior to service
- Serve meals in the dining room and resident rooms while following portion guidelines
- Ensure special diet trays are accurate and delivered promptly
- Assist residents with meal set‑up to promote safe and comfortable dining
- Prepare snacks and beverages as directed
- Maintain proper labeling, dating, and rotation of food items
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment; store items appropriately
- Clean and sanitize workstations, refrigerators, freezers, and service areas
- Remove trash and maintain organized, hazard‑free work spaces
- Collaborate with dietary and nursing teams to support resident needs
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information (HIPAA)
- Treat all residents with dignity, respect, and professionalism
- Honor resident choices and cultural preferences
- Report grievances, concerns, or suspected abuse immediately
- Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers
- Follow infection prevention and food safety procedures
- Maintain proper hand hygiene and glove use
- Use PPE when required
- Understand SDS and chemical labeling guidelines
- Report hazards, equipment concerns, or incidents immediately
- Participate in required safety and sanitation training
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Customer-service mindset
- Prior food service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Lift and carry 25–50 pounds
- Push and pull food carts
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
