We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Activities Aide to join our team at Loyalhanna Care Center, a skilled nursing facility located in Latrobe, PA. As a key member of our activities department, you will work closely with our residents, staff, and families to create a vibrant and engaging environment that fosters a sense of community and purpose.

• Plan, organize, and implement various activities, including arts and crafts, games, and recreational programs
• Encourage socialization and participation among residents, including those with dementia and cognitive impairments
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement individualized activity plans
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity schedules
• Assist with special events and celebrations, such as birthdays, holidays, and resident gatherings
• Provide direct care and supervision to residents as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
