Loyalhanna Care Center in Latrobe, PA is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our care team. This role is essential in ensuring residents receive medications safely, accurately, and in compliance with physician orders and state regulations. • Administer medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and facility policy

• Document medication administration, refusals, and observations per protocol

• Monitor residents for adverse reactions and report concerns immediately

• Maintain accurate narcotic counts and controlled substance documentation

• Communicate with pharmacy regarding refills, returns, and discrepancies

• Assist with resident care needs as directed

• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure medication cart

• Support and mentor new staff as assigned

• Pay Rate: Starting at $15.00/hour

• Bonus: $750 Sign-On Bonus

• Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

• Schedule: Flexible shifts available (including weekends and holidays)

• Location: Loyalhanna Care Center – Latrobe, PA

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Successful completion of a state-approved Medication Administration Training Program

• Prior experience in personal care or long-term care preferred

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Knowledge of medication administration and safety procedures

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
