OverviewWe are a national leader in the design and manufacturing of custom trailers, priding ourselves on delivering high-quality, innovative solutions across a wide range of industries such as custom lavatory, laundry and bottle filling trailers that are used at festivals, events, construction sites, and emergency disaster locations. We are seeking to add an Inventory Procurement Specialist to our rapidly expanding team at our manufacturing/office facility in Latrobe, PA.
ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be highly organized and efficient with excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.
Duties Will Include But Not Be Limited To
- Follow up via phone and email with vendors on open purchase orders and discrepancies on incoming shipment receipts.
- Monitor changes with vendors and request updated lead times affecting internal supply and demand.
- Process inventory receipts, reports and update tracking and order information.
- Coordinate and follow up on drop ship customer parts orders.
- Schedule and track incoming logistics/freight shipments for assigned vendors.
- Issue and track employee tool issuance and inventory.
- Conduct weekly scheduled inventory cycle counts.
- Research and solve low inventory concerns communicated by the production team.
- Collaborate and cross train with other inventory team members.
- Proven experience in inventory and vendor relations
- Excellent attention to detail skills with ability to multi-task
- Ability to manage and meet deadlines
- Organizational skills and accurate record keeping
- Able to communicate proficiently
- Solid decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, One Drive and Quick Books
- 3+ years of prior experience in Shipping & Receiving, Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain
- Knowledge of Quick Books
- Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) a plus
Office hours are Monday - Friday, from 8:30am - 5:00pm.
