PCU RN – Nights

Provide patient care in a Progressive Care/Stepdown Unit (PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown). Manage and monitor cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias. Administer and titrate cardiac drips and thrombolytic agents. Perform respiratory interventions:
BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, tracheostomy care, chest tubes, oxygen therapy, ABG interpretation. Conduct IV therapy, phlebotomy, and manage central/PICC/peripheral lines. Administer blood products as needed. Care for patients with various conditions: renal failure, post-hemodialysis, CVA, seizure disorders, substance withdrawal. Manage feeding tubes and continuous bladder irrigation. Provide wound care, wound vac maintenance, and manage surgical drains. Implement isolation precautions and PPE use.

Respond to rapid response and code situations. Care for post-cardiac angiogram, post-MI, pre/post cardiac cath, and pacemaker patients. Manage endocrine/metabolic protocols (e.g., IV insulin). Provide orthopedic care (e.g.
