Travel RN - Psychiatric

American Traveler is hiring a Behavioral Health RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of experience and an active PA or compact RN license.

• Active PA or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• CCM or CPI certification preferred
• Two supervisor references preferred

• Work in the Behavioral Health unit of a hospital setting
• Serves adult patients, with preference for candidates experienced in both adult and pediatric behavioral health
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• Floating required within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Provide direct patient care within a behavioral health setting
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, local candidates not accepted
• Former permanent employees of the facility are not eligible to return as travelers
• Must be available to work every other holiday
• Travel pairs may be considered based on facility need, though matching schedules cannot be guaranteed
• Fingerprinting, drug screen, and required labs must be completed within 24-48 hours of signing
• Demographic sheet must be submitted within 48 hours of signing
• All compliance requirements must be cleared by the Wednesday prior to start
• Approximately 1 hour of pre-start training modules required before entering the facility
