Role Overview An opportunity is available for a Lab Technician within a fast-paced food and beverage manufacturing environment. This role involves performing quality assurance tests on the production floor, including analytical and microbiological testing, to support product release and ensure compliance with all standards. Key Responsibilities
* Perform a variety of required analytical laboratory tests on in-process product samples and finished goods.
* Conduct testing on product and packaging materials, as well as incoming products.
* Utilize testing protocols ranging from basic benchtop wet chemistries, such as pH, to more extensive instrumentation, including GC and UV-Vis.
* Perform government compliance testing on required products prior to release.
* Execute QA tests, pressure checks, and Hawk UV analysis.
* Assist with product holds, audits, and special projects as necessary.

Required Qualifications
*
* Education:

** A four-year science degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics, or a related field is required.
*
* Experience:

** This position requires 0-1 years of industry experience.
** Technical

Skills:

** Some analytical experience, which could include GC and UV-Vis, is preferred.

Work Environment This position requires the ability to adapt to various work environments. Available shifts include second shift (3pm-11pm) and third shift (11pm-7am), with priority for the third shift. A weekend rotation of 7pm-7am every third Saturday and Sunday is also possible.
