What You’ll Do- Develop and implement dimensional inspection methods and techniques.
- Conduct dimensional inspections for
modified and full First Articles
. - Perform
Gage R&R studies
to evaluate measurement system capability. - Conduct
Capability Studies
and analyze results. - Review inspection and study results with appropriate personnel.
- Assist with identifying and resolving
metrology and measurement-related issues
. - Support other quality and dimensional inspection activities as needed.
- Assist with training and developing
Dimensional Inspector Trainees
.
- College degree
or 4+ years of metrology experience
. - Strong understanding of
GD&T and programming
. - Proficiency in
blueprint reading
. - Knowledge of
Statistical Process Control (SPC). - Commitment to manufacturing safety and quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly and work effectively with others.
