Role Overview

Responsible for managing store operations, staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Ensures effective implementation of processes including ordering, stocking, presentation, and customer service. Maintains store safety, cleanliness, and security while adhering to company policies.

• Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees; conduct performance reviews and recommend pay and advancement.
• Train staff, communicate expectations, and foster a safe, secure shopping environment.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Analyze financial statements to identify trends and control expenses.
• Manage inventory levels, ordering, and merchandise presentation according to established standards.
• Ensure cash handling accuracy, store security, and compliance with policies.
• Provide superior customer service and maintain a well-organized, safe store environment.
• Complete all required documentation and ensure employee adherence to policies.

• Ability to interpret documents and perform mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising practices.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with recruiting, hiring, counseling, and legal compliance.
• Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent; management experience in retail is a plus.
• Bilingual skills may be preferred for certain locations.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds.
• Use of equipment such as scanners, pricing guns, and carts.
• Regularly operate in a fast-paced environment, occasionally outdoors.
• Must have reliable transportation for store-related duties.
