Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm;
Friday 8:30 am - 6:00 pm;
Saturday 9:00 am - 12:00 pm (Must be flexible around branch hours)
- Deliver exceptional customer service at the teller line in conjunction with sales and platform duties, meeting assigned sales goals and supporting individual and branch production goals.
- Operate customer service window using computer systems, S&T sales skills, product knowledge, and policies to handle various transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Verify customer identity, balances, and endorsements; protect the customer and the bank from fraud.
- Accept deposits, verify endorsements, issue receipts, and process check or coupon cashing.
- Process savings deposits and withdrawals; balance window cash daily; perform ATM and vault settlement as applicable.
- Provide additional customer services such as bank money orders and payment acceptance.
- Profile customers to recommend appropriate S&T loan and deposit products; use all sales tools (e.g., Loan Fit, sales binders).
- Complete the S&T sales process and customer-focused conversation, document notes in system for all bankers’ view.
- Develop customer profiles, identify banking needs, close business, and perform follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction.
- Build professional relationships, demonstrating understanding of the S&T sales process and policies.
- Contribute to branch goals and sales and service standards outlined in the branch playbook.
- Execute professional sales and service behaviors aligned with the bank’s values.
- Perform outbound calls, participate in branch sales call campaigns, and support data entry for new and existing account processing.
- Maintain existing accounts, answer questions, resolve problems, and handle check orders.
- Assist with customer service duties such as taking deposits, cashing checks, processing withdrawals.
- Prepare loan applications using LOS software and coordinate loan document preparation.
- Maintain strong interpersonal skills, work independently and as a team player.
- Complete NMLS requirements as part of the S.A.F.E. Act certification and maintain registration annually.
- Assume additional duties as required (e.g., balancing ATMs, processing deposits).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two to five years of general and specialized experience.
- Successful completion of the retail training program, including CSR and RSA training.
- Certified CARE within 6 months of hire.
Operate a keypad device 70% of the day; electronic equipment 10%; office equipment 10%. Standing required 2 hours per day; sitting 5 hours. Routine lifting up to 10 lbs. twice per day; maximum lift 20 lbs. once per day. Occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs. Manual dexterity for typing and data entry up to 40% of the business day.
Close vision 18–20” required for computer work.
Salary Range: $17.50 – $30.84 per hour. Incentive compensation determined by plan, performance, and market data.
