As a Security Officer - Healthcare Foot Patrol in Latrobe, PA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while supporting patients, visitors, and staff with courteous assistance. You will observe and report unusual activity, respond to calls for service, and communicate clearly with the care team.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and escalating concerns per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, including verifying credentials as directed and reporting suspicious activity per policy.
• Perform routine reporting and communication duties, including completing activity logs, incident reports, and coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
