Part‑Time School Security Officer
Eastern Westmoreland Career & Technology Center
EWCTC is seeking qualified applicants for a Part‑Time School Security Officer
.
Preferred candidates are graduates of an accredited PA Municipal Police Academy with current Act 120 Certification or have 3+ years of law enforcement experience.
Requirements- Basic SRO (NASRO or PPCD‑approved equivalent)
- Licensed under 18 Pa.C.S. Ch.16 (Uniform Firearms Act)
- Certified under Act 235 (Lethal Weapons Training Act)
Support and implement emergency response and safety plans; maintain a positive, visible presence; and promote a secure learning environment through active patrol and engagement.
