Industrial Maintenance Electrician
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician who is open to working either the Second Shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm or the Third Shift from 11:00pm to 7:30am.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, electronic, and control system malfunctions on industrial production equipment.
- Install, test, maintain, and repair motors, motor controls, power distribution equipment, transformers, switch gear, and lighting systems.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), sensors, relays, and automated systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.
- Utilize electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, capital projects, and process improvement initiatives.
- Follow all OSHA, NFPA 70E, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and company safety procedures.
- Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to maximize operational efficiency.
Essential Skills
- High voltage electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Experience performing maintenance on Variable Frequency Drives and PLCs.
- Proficiency in working with motor controls, power supply, and digital/analog circuits.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Completion of an industrial electrical apprenticeship, technical school program, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with skills in electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, wiring, electronics, and industrial maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and experience with 3-phase automation systems.

Work Environment
Work in a heavy industrial foundry and metals manufacturing environment with exposure to high temperatures, molten metal processes, radiant heat, and varying weather conditions. Frequent exposure to dust, smoke, fumes, vibration, and elevated noise levels requires the use of hearing protection and other personal protective equipment (PPE). The role involves working around large industrial equipment including furnaces, conveyors, cranes, pumps, compressors, motors, and automated production machinery.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $76044.80 - $79081.60/yr. Health, vision, dental. 401k match
