Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, and air conditioning systems;
Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers;
Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through paid formal training;
Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities;
Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within two years
