Position: Early Childhood Education (ECE) School Speech Therapist | Laurel, Delaware

Key

Qualifications:

• Current or eligible Delaware SLP license (SLP-CCC or CFY considered)
• Experience in schools, early childhood, or SLP settings preferred
• Ability to assess and support students with speech, language, and communication challenges
• Strong team player with exceptional communication skills
• Previous work with moderate to severe student needs is a plus
• Flexible, proactive, and adept at problem-solving in dynamic educational environments

Areas of Focus:

• Deliver engaging speech-language therapy services to K-12 students, including early intervention work
• Integrate assistive technology and augmentative communication as appropriate
• Address articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and both receptive and expressive language delays
• Conduct thorough diagnostic and evaluation assessments, preparing detailed, insightful reports on student progress
• Develop, implement, and update IEP objectives in coordination with educational teams
• Foster collaborative relationships with educators and families, ensuring student developmental growth is carefully supported
