Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in education.
2. Qualify, at time of hire, for State of Delaware certification as an Early Childhood Teacher Birth to Grade 2 (1520) or an Elementary Teacher K-6 (1521) Teacher required.
3. Dual certification in Early Childhood Exceptional Children Special Education Teacher Grades K-12 (1570) or Special Education Teacher of Students with Disabilities required. (1571) required.
4. Applicant must demonstrate a level of knowledge and/or experience appropriate to the position.
5. Favorable criminal background and child protection registry check for the candidate offered employment required.
6. Tuberculin test required.
7. Participation in Direct Deposit required.

Terms of Employment: 1. 10 month position - Salary based on State and local salary schedule
2. Benefits in accordance with current Laurel Board policy
