Will support the Vision, Mission, and Values of the Organization. The qualified candidate must be able to direct and assign employees as needed to ensure all aspects of quality product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supports Allen Harim’s mission, vision, and values.
• Communicates with other associates at all levels and maintains a good attendance record.
• Reports team member performance records to the Management team.
• Ensures the department follows GMP, HACCP, SSOP, and USDA standards.
• Assists in the training of all associates.
• Ensures team members properly wear PPE and understand safety procedures.
• Sets daily objectives and communicates them to the team.
• Manages paperwork relating to the department.
• Supervises cleanup work performed during breaks (lunch and in between shifts) to meet USDA and state requirements.
• Functions as supervisor when needed.
• Works Saturdays and extended hours or weekends as required.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with at least four years of poultry experience.
• Knowledge of poultry plant or food production.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills (preferred).
• High degree of attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills; frequent communication required with management and staff.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions consistent with essential job functions.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Enter all areas of the plant and offices.
• Climb and crawl in confined spaces.
• Communicate with all levels of employees, outside vendors, and government agencies.

Physical Demands

The job operates in a poultry plant environment, which can be wet, hot, cold, noisy, and odorous. The employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk for long periods, use hands and fingers, bend, sit, and lift up to 50 lbs.
