This position is responsible for various warehouse duties including opening and loading of product and other general warehouse tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities- Operate and maintain various company vehicles to include service vans and 26 straight trucks.
- Run special same-day deliveries and/or accompany a delivery route when necessary.
- Open and inspect product for transport to showrooms throughout the company.
- Ensure merchandise is accurate and free of damage; report quality variances.
- Operate the handheld scanner to process all merchandise.
- Operate and maintain equipment in a clean manner that promotes safety; comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
- Unload incoming merchandise and load outgoing merchandise.
- Assist customers with pick-ups when necessary.
