CDL-A​/Delivery Team Member

Description

The most critical requirement for this position is for the individual to possess a Class A‑CDL license with no "E" restriction, be able to operate a manual transmission, and maintain said license for the duration of employment. This position is responsible for various job duties which are explained below. The position will require the employee to be responsible for the opening and loading of products, along with other general warehouse duties as assigned.

Please note this is NOT a touchless freight position.

• Responsible for opening and inspecting product for transport to our various showrooms throughout the company.
• Ensure merchandise is accurate and free of damage, report quality variances.
• Operate the handheld scanner to process all merchandise.
• Operate and maintain equipment in a clean manner that promotes safety and comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Offload incoming merchandise and load outgoing merchandise.
• Operate and maintain various company vehicles, including but not limited to service vans, 26‑straight trucks, 53‑ft manual tractor‑trailer, and/or demountable rail trailer system.
• Assist customers with pick‑ups when necessary.
• Run special same‑day deliveries and/or accompany a delivery route when necessary.
