Travel School Psychologist in Laurel, MD

A school psychologist position is available for a travel assignment in Laurel, MD. This role involves providing psychological services to students in a school setting, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development through assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations for students
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
• Providing counseling and behavioral support to students
• Consulting with teachers, parents, and school staff to address student needs
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and data review sessions
• Maintaining accurate records and reports in compliance with school and state regulations

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• Appropriate state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience in conducting psycho educational assessments and developing IEPs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
• Familiarity with federal and state special education laws and regulations
