Job Description
Preparing engineering designs for water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
Performing engineering calculations for pipelines, utility systems, grading, and drainage.
Conducting utility investigations, field visits, and condition assessments.
Coordinating with surveyors, geotechnical engineers, utility companies, and permitting agencies.
Developing construction plans, profiles, specifications, and technical reports.
Preparing cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and engineer's opinions of probable construction cost.
Supporting permitting activities with local, state, and federal agencies.
Reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and contractor requests during construction.
Participating in construction meetings and field inspections.
Coordinating with CAD designers and technical staff to produce quality construction documents.
Verifying compliance with applicable engineering standards, client requirements, and quality control procedures.
Maintaining project schedules and assist with project documentation.
