National Water Growth Leader

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a National Water Growth Leader to provide executive-level leadership for the firm's water business across the United States. This role will partner with senior leadership to develop, refine, and execute the national water market strategy, driving sustainable growth, strengthening market positioning, and ensuring alignment across regions, disciplines, and services. The National Water Growth Leader will play a critical role in identifying market opportunities, fostering collaboration across the organization, and advancing strategic initiatives that support the firm's long-term growth objectives.

Role

Leads the water market's strategic initiatives, growth plans, and marketing opportunities.

Work with Water Market leadership to identify, track, and deliver new opportunities.

Work with regional leadership to manage client development, strategic pursuit strategies, and win work process.

Supports the development of market focus areas, investment priorities, and go-to-market approaches across regions and water sub-markets.

Partner with executive, regional, and technical leadership to ensure consistent execution of national strategies.

Lead and support strategic pursuits for large, complex, and high-visibility water projects and programs across the U.S.

Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key national clients, utilities, agencies, and industry partners.

Strengthens AtkinsRéalis' national brand and market presence through industry leadership, advocacy, and engagement.

Serve as Client Manager for selected key clients or pursuits; serve as Principal in Charge of high-profile projects.

About You

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; master's degree preferred.

15+ years of progressive leadership experience in the water sector, including national or multi-regional market leadership.

Demonstrated experience building a regional or national water infrastructure and process treatment sales pipeline.

Demonstrated success developing and executing national growth strategies and winning complex, large-scale pursuits.

Deep understanding of U.S. public and private water markets, funding mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks.

Proven ability to lead through influence and collaboration across geographic regions and organizational boundaries.

Demonstrated ability to build a network of clients and industry partners.

Exceptional executive communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Professional Engineer (PE) license or similar professional credential preferred.

Experience with alternative delivery methods is preferred.

Candidates should be willing and able to travel up to 30% to 50% as needed to support client engagements, project execution, and business objectives.
