Job Title

You've led teams under pressure, kept complex systems running, and never waited to be told twice. This role puts those instincts to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where your technical skills and leadership drive real results every single day.

This is a hands-on position located directly on the factory floor. The workload is split between 25% to 30% direct maintenance work and 75% to 80% supervision and training. The supervisor will manage, monitor, and train a team of 12 technicians, with three technicians assigned to each of the four shifts. Core responsibilities include ensuring the safe and reliable operation of ammonia refrigeration, boilers, compressed air, steam, and wastewater systems.

The role requires sustaining and improving the Process Safety Management (PSM) program. Supervise and develop a maintenance team covering utilities systems including ammonia refrigeration, compressed air, boilers, steam, HVAC, and more. Operate and repair electro-mechanical equipment including compressors, motors, pumps, PLC systems, and condensers. Maintain compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements and all regulatory standards. Drive condition-based maintenance practices, manage engineering stores, and control maintenance budgets.

Lead daily briefings, conduct performance reviews, and build a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Hands-on technical background in industrial utilities, including ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems. 5 years experience supervising or leading a maintenance team in a production environment (or 10-15 years of hands on experience). Working knowledge of PSM programs and/or ammonia refrigeration systems. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding manufacturing environment.
