Job Summary

Solar Energy World—now a wholly owned Comcast company—is expanding rapidly and seeks Inside Sales Representatives to support its growing DMV market. The role is designed for individuals who want to prove themselves, master the fundamentals of sales, and earn a clear pathway into Outside Sales.

Core Responsibilities
  • Present and set up appointments for company products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Engage with potential leads to understand their solar energy needs and requirements.
  • Reach agreed‑upon sales targets by the deadline.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Set follow‑up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments.
  • Schedule meetings for new leads and older leads in the system for the Outside Sales team to pitch/run.
  • Cover incoming leads as well as assigned leads during other team members’ absences as needed.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure alignment with the company’s offerings.
  • Respond to incoming leads via email or phone after hours and on weekends.
  • Perform data entry and maintenance of each new lead with accurate and appropriate information.
  • Maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance, including nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Key Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to learn quickly.
  • Experience with online learning tools and digital sales platforms.
  • People management and customer‑service orientation.
  • Compliance with standards and quality expectations.
