Inside Sales Rep - Solar

Job Summary

Solar Energy World, a wholly‑owned Comcast company, is hiring Inside Sales Representatives to support our expanding DMV market. The role focuses on qualifying and nurturing inbound and outbound leads, setting appointments for our Outside Sales team, and driving revenue growth through a performance‑based compensation structure.

• Present and set up appointments for company products and services to be sold to new and existing customers.
• Engage with potential leads to understand their solar energy needs and requirements.
• Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure alignment with the company’s offerings.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints efficiently.
• Set follow‑up appointments to keep customers informed of the latest developments.
• Schedule meetings for new and existing leads in the system for the Outside Sales team.
• Cover incoming leads and assigned leads during other team members’ absences as needed.
• Respond to after‑hours and weekend leads received via email or phone.
• Perform data entry and maintenance of new leads with accurate, organized information.
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, including nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as required.
• Execute additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and flexible or overtime schedules.
• Proficiency with online learning and digital tools.
• Competence in sales and compliance standards.

Pay range: $20.43 – $30.64 per hour. Base pay varies by experience and role performance. Eligible for commission and monthly bonuses. Comprehensive benefits are available for eligible employees.
