Automotive Mechanic
Perform brake inspections, brake repairs, and rotor replacements
Install lift kits and suspension components
Perform general mechanical repairs and maintenance on cars and light trucks
Diagnose mechanical issues and determine the appropriate repair
Perform steering, suspension, and related repairs
Complete services and installations safely, accurately, and efficiently
Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment properly
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Work as part of a team to keep vehicles moving through the shop efficiently
Previous experience as an automotive mechanic or technician
Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical systems
Experience with brakes, rotors, suspension, and general repair work
Experience installing lift kits or aftermarket suspension components is a plus
Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs correctly
Comfortable working on passenger vehicles and light trucks
Ability to work independently while also being a team player
Dependable, safety-minded, and committed to quality workmanship
Valid driver's license
Work in a dedicated mechanical service area within a busy PLT shop
