H2O is currently seeking a Wastewater Operator (Class IV) to join our team in Laurel, Mississippi.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee and operate wastewater treatment processes to ensure compliance and efficiency

* Monitor plant operations and make adjustments as needed

* Analyze lab and operational data to maintain treatment performance

* Troubleshoot process, mechanical, and equipment issues

* Coordinate and support maintenance of plant equipment

* Maintain accurate logs, reports, and compliance documentation

* Lead and support lower-level operators

* Respond to alarms, upsets, and emergency situations

* Assist with inspections, audits, and regulatory coordination

* Enforce safety procedures and company standards

The Skills We Are Looking For

* Active Level IV Wastewater Operator License (or equivalent)

* Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and regulations

* Experience in municipal wastewater plant operations

* Ability to monitor and adjust plant processes and systems

* Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

* Leadership ability and experience supporting a team

* Strong communication and problem-solving skills

* Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
