As a Technician, Retail Repair, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional in-store support by diagnosing, triaging, and repairing wireless and Apple devices—both for customers and internal use.
Your efforts in ensuring quality repairs, recommending solutions, and improving customer satisfaction will be a key factor in delivering our promise of operational excellence.
- Achieve individual sales and productivity goals while maintaining a high-energy approach in promoting C Spire services.
- Serve as a wireless device and mobile OS software expert in your market.
- Obtain and maintain required certifications to complete approved repairs/refurbishments.
- Identify, triage, and perform efficient, quality repairs on wireless devices per warranty and company standards.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately, including labor and parts charges.
- Be knowledgeable of accessories and upsell based on individual customer needs.
- Meet or exceed customer satisfaction (measured by surveys, NPS).
- Support the Market Manager on the retail floor during customer flow peaks.
- Maintain a safe, secure, neat, and clean workstation and secure all company inventory and tools.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.
- A minimum of one year electronic/mechanical device repair or telecom device experience.
- Face-to-face experience in a service repair industry preferred; customer service experience required.
- Two-year electronics degree preferred;
High school diploma required. - A high degree of interpersonal skills.
- PC experience required.

Physical Requirements and Working ConditionsMust be able to lift 40lbs, bend, stoop, and crawl. Must have finger/wrist/arm mobility and finger dexterity.
Schedule may include some evenings and Saturdays.
This position will require travel (estimated 20%) to other stores in the local area as needed based on a schedule.
