Summary

As an Epic Implementation Analyst for the Resolute Hospital Billing/Claims module, your primary responsibility will be building and configuring the billing and claims application within Epic and applicable third-party systems. A key responsibility will include providing mentorship and guidance to end users and junior team members throughout the implementation process.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation process by meeting key milestones and deliverables for the Resolute Hospital Billing/Claims module.
  • Collaborate with the project team and revenue cycle stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of Resolute Hospital Billing/Claims with financial, claims, and clinical workflows.
  • Coordinate build and testing with other third-party systems to ensure compatibility and functionality with hospital billing and claims workflows.
  • Guide the workflow design, system build, and testing processes for hospital billing and claims operations within the Resolute module.
  • Implement requested changes and configure the system to meet operational and financial needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between revenue cycle teams, other end users, workflow needs, and Epic representatives.
  • Participate in regular project meetings, providing timely status updates, including deliverables, timelines, and issue resolution.
  • Lead training sessions and offer mentorship to junior team members and end users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during the implementation phase.
  • Maintain regular communication with Epic representatives to ensure that system configurations align with best practices.
  • Collaborate with project leadership to ensure that project milestones are met on time and within budget.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Strong understanding of hospital billing, claims, and revenue cycle workflows and integration with the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing/Claims module.
  • Familiarity with hospital accounts receivable, remittance processing, and claims management.
  • Familiarity with Epic's Orion toolset.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, guide, and support junior team members.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with Epic implementations and/or Community Connect is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to client sites (e.g., Mississippi).
Education And Experience
  • Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Certification required.
  • At least five years of Epic Resolute Hospital Billing/Claims experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Previous experience in Epic implementation and/or Community Connect is preferred.
  • Experience providing mentorship or leadership in a project setting is a plus.
