The Epic Clin Doc/Stork Analyst is responsible for the design, build, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of the Epic Clin Doc and Stork applications. This role partners with nursing leadership, clinical staff, obstetrics teams, and operational stakeholders to support safe, efficient, and high-quality inpatient and obstetric workflows.

• Configure and maintain
  
  Epic Clin Doc and Stork functionality including flow sheets, documentation tools, order sets, care plans, templates, OB tracking boards, labor and delivery workflows, and newborn records.
• Analyze clinical requirements and translate them into system design aligned with best practices and regulatory standards.
• Build andmaintainnursing documentation tools including care plans, navigator sections, BPAs,Smart Forms,Smart Texts, andSmart
  
  Phrases.
• Support andoptimizeobstetric workflows including labor and delivery monitoring, fetal monitoring integrations, delivery workflows, baby transfers, and postpartum care.
• Participate in system upgrades, release cycles, and new feature implementations.
• Provide Tier II and Tier III support for Clin Doc and Stork workflows.
• Troubleshoot documentation issues, workflow challenges, and integrated device connections.
• Utilize Epic tools to investigate and resolve application issues.
• Collaborate with Epic Technical Support and application teams as needed.
• Work with clinical leaders and staff to design workflow solutions.
• Participate in governance committees, optimization initiatives, and project teams.
• Develop and execute testing plans for upgrades, patches, and workflow changes.
• Maintain documentation, build specifications, change logs, and training materials.
• Provide go-live, onboarding, and ongoing support.

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1-3+ years of clinical documentation, inpatient nursing, OB/L&D, or EHR system experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and workflow-mapping skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

• Epic Clin Doc and/or Stork certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• RN, LPN, or other clinical background preferred, especially in inpatient, OB, L&D, or women's services.
• Experience with clinical regulatory requirements and quality initiatives.
• Familiarity with clinical documentation standards, care plans, and nursing workflow optimization.

• Ability to translate clinical workflows into technical Epic configuration.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clinical teams.
• Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to manage PHI and sensitive patient information with discretion.
• Experience with Epic Hyperspace, Reporting Workbench,Smart Tools, or clinical decision support is a plus.
