We are seeking a hands‑on Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day production activities on the shop floor. This role is responsible for driving operational performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost while building and developing a high‑performing team.

This is an ideal opportunity for:

• A current Production/Operations leader

• Manufacturing/Process Engineer ready to step into leadership

• Lead daily shop floor operations
  , including team meetings, production execution, and staffing
• Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (waste reduction, standard work, process optimization)
• Ensure production schedules and customer requirements are met efficiently
• Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable for performance and safety
• Provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, and manage disciplinary actions when needed
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, quality, and training teams
• Monitor and manage labor efficiency, overtime, and workforce planning
• Support a strong culture of safety, quality, and compliance
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions
• Engage with customers as needed on product quality, testing, and process‑related matters

• Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Business, or related field)
• 4+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• (or 8+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in lieu of degree)
• Proven experience driving Lean / Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, hands‑on production environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

• Aerospace or automotive manufacturing background
• Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality systems
• Experience with thermal processing, coatings, or specialized manufacturing processes
• Background in process engineering or manufacturing engineering

• Reports directly to the Plant Manager
