WOW (Work Only Weekends) CNA

Comfort Care Nursing Center

Full Time/PRN:
Full Time 16hr shifts every other weekend

Job Summary

The LTC WOW CNA provides compassionate, high‑quality care to long‑term care residents, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity. This role supports individualized care plans, promotes a positive living environment, and contributes to the well‑being and satisfaction of residents and their families.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient‑centered care.
  • Clear background check and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Long‑term care or skilled nursing experience.
  • Strong communication skills and EHR proficiency.
  • Recognition or awards for outstanding patient care.
  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
  • Monitor and document resident health status; report changes promptly.
  • Support mobility and exercise routines.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment following infection control protocols.
  • Engage with residents empathetically to promote emotional well‑being.
  • Foster positive interactions to enhance residents’ quality of life.
Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong observational abilities.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity for resident assistance.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Preferred: EHR proficiency and specialized training.
