** Laurel, MS** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible, and help to identify and report security-related concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under Allied Universal driver policy.

You will support access control, communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, and deliver a professional customer service experience guided by integrity, teamwork, and a caring culture.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing location.

+ Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or irregular conditions.

+ Control access by monitoring entrances, checking identification and/or visitor authorization, and directing deliveries and contractors to designated check-in areas per site policy.

+ Complete routine security-related reports, including shift activity logs and incident documentation, and report maintenance concerns such as damaged doors, gates, fencing, and/or lighting.

* + A minimum of 6+ months of security-related experience is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
