Job DetailsFacility Upkeep
- Perform minor building maintenance (lighting, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
Documentation
- Maintain logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
Safety Compliance
- Follow OSHA, USDA, state, and company safety protocols (e.g., lockout/tagout procedures)
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Lift up to 50-75 lbs.
- Work in cold, wet, and noisy environments (30°F or lower)
- Climb ladders and work at heights
- Work is performed in a plant setting with moderate noise levels in the working environment
Skills and Knowledge:
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems
- Technical Knowledge
- Familiarity with PLCs, servo motors, and industrial tools
- Communication
- Clear reporting and coordination with supervisors and production teams
- Education
- High school diploma or GED; vocational training or technical certifications are a plus
