Main Responsibilities
  • Support the Grocery Manager in overseeing daily operations of the grocery department, including Frozen, Dairy, and Liquor/Beer
  • Supervise, train, and develop associates to ensure high performance and strong customer service
  • Execute ordering, receiving, pricing, stocking, and merchandising of products
  • Monitor inventory levels, control shrink, and ensure proper product rotation and freshness
  • Promote and deliver excellent customer service, resolving customer concerns professionally
  • Open and close the store and oversee store operations in the absence of Store Director or Grocery Manager
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and sanitation guidelines
  • Prepare work plans and delegate tasks to ensure efficient operations and completion of priorities
  • Handle cash accountability processes and maintain proper cash handling procedures
  • Respond to operational issues and emergencies, ensuring continuity of store operations

  • Ability to lift and move items up to approximately 80 lbs and operate equipment such as pallet jacks and carts
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision when necessary
