Position Overview:

The Power Equipment Specialist at High Country Ace Hardware combines expertise in plumbing with a passion for sales to provide exceptional customer service and drive business growth. This role involves assisting customers with power equipment product selection, offering expert advice, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction throughout the sales process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power equipment, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Consultation: Engage with customers to understand their equipment needs and provide tailored recommendations on products and solutions.
• Product Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of power equipment products and other related items. Stay updated on industry trends and new products.
• Sales Execution: Drive sales by effectively presenting and upselling products, addressing customer inquiries, and converting leads into purchases.
• Service and Support: Provide expert advice and troubleshooting support to customers, helping them make informed decisions and resolve any issues they may encounter. Work with vendors and warranties. Repairs and maintenance.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage product displays, and ensure that the store is well-stocked with popular and high demand power equipment items.
• Training and Development: Assist in training new sales associates on products and sales techniques, contributing to a knowledgeable and effective team.
• Customer Follow-Up: Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and build long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Ability to work an 8-hour shift on-site
• No formal education required; motivation and willingness to learn are key
