A school district near Greenwood, SC, is seeking a licensed School Psychologist for a full-time, direct hire position located onsite in Laurens, SC. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical psychological services and support to students through the end of the current school year, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for Special Education eligibility
- Assess Specific Learning Disability using the Pattern of Strengths and Weaknesses (PSW) model
- Evaluate students for Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to develop effective intervention plans
- Participate in meetings and provide recommendations to support student success
- Valid South Carolina School Psychologist License is required
- Experience with PSW assessments and various psychological evaluations preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently
- Onsite position in Laurens, SC, near Greenwood, SC
