Salary: $80,000–$90,000 + potential performance bonuses

- This role offers the ideal blend of engineering detail and hands‑on project leadership within a growing mechanical and life safety services organization.
- Produce accurate layouts and system drawings for fire sprinkler installations using leading design software.
- Conduct hydraulic calculations and ensure all plans meet NFPA requirements and local building codes.
- Prepare drawings, submittals, and material lists for fabrication and installation teams.
- Work closely with project teams, contractors, and design partners throughout the planning and construction process.
- Lead assigned projects from the estimating phase through turnover, coordinating schedules, materials, and field crews.
- Track project progress to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality benchmarks are consistently met.
- Maintain open communication with internal leadership, customers, and site personnel.
- Troubleshoot design or construction issues and champion safety and compliance on every job.

Type:
Direct Hire
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in fire sprinkler design and fire protection project management.
- Strong proficiency with design software including Auto Sprink & AutoCAD or comparable fire protection design tools.
- Experience working in BIM environments or using Revit MEP.
- Solid understanding of NFPA standards—especially NFPA 13, 14, and 25.
- NICET Water‑Based Systems Layout certification (Level II or above preferred).
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
- Valid driver’s license—will be traveling to job sites when needed.
