CMM Lab Supervisor

The CMM Lab Supervisor will work closely with production and use the appropriate testing/measuring equipment to ensure quality products are manufactured and supplied in accordance with customer requirements.

• Planning and carrying out measurements for monitoring of the serial production.
• Carrying out and evaluating capability studies and cleanliness tests.
• Planning and implementation of metrological method.
• Quality planning in the product development stage.
• Participating in the handling of customer complaints.
• Training of staff in matters of metrology.
• Programming and set up of CMMs and design of fixtures.
• Organization and management of FMEA meetings in the product development and serial production phases.
• Monitoring, provisioning, testing, and coordination of the gauge management system.
• Test plan creation, coordination, and modification.
• Planning of maintenance of the measuring equipment.
• Metro logical support of set ups and optimization of CNC machines.
• Planning and carrying out of sampling (PPAP).

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Specialized training and extensive experience in the field of Metrology.
• Previous programming experience using PC-DMIS or Calypso
• Knowledge of machining and casting of components is beneficial
• Experience in the automotive industry and associated technical and quality requirements.
