Essential of duties and responsibilities:

• Supervises and coordinates team activities ensuring production targets are met.
• Runs production equipment in the manufacturing of ceramic powder
• Maintains material inventories, physical and electronic
• Trains and monitors team members on area equipment, safety requirements, and production procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues
• Communicate and report production metrics, issues, and progress with management
• Responsible for shift handover notes and targets

Daily Tasks:

• Review handover notes and targets
• Conduct team briefings relaying expectations and assigning tasks
• Walk area ensuring machinery, materials, and workflow are operating to standard
• Support changeover processes and resolve operational issues
• Prepare reports and update metrics
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Education, prior work experience, specialized skills and knowledge required:

• High school or GED Equivalent
• Ceramic industry experience and/or training preferred
• Leadership skills – able to motivate teams

Physical requirements:

• Manual lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Good physical dexterity
  - Climbing, reaching, lifting, turning etc.
• Hand / eye coordination

Working conditions:

• Dusty & wet environment with temperature fluctuations
