Position Summary

Position Summary of the Walmart Logistics Manager role, responsible for overseeing area operations, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met, and developing associates and leaders.

What you'll do

Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates). Implement the business plan for your area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety). Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports. Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, and distributing and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation.

Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns by listening and consulting with others when needed to determine corrective action or make recommendations. Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, supporting and modeling logistics and company policies and procedures, identifying training and development needs, and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation.

Salary and Additional Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00 – $98,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include regional pay zone (RPZ) based on location and stock options.
