Laurens Electric Cooperative is seeking a motivated and dependable Apprentice Line Technician to join our team. This position is part of a structured 4-5 year apprenticeship program designed to develop the technical skills, safety knowledge, and hands on experience required for a successful career as a Line Technician.
This position could be located at either of our Operations Centers:
Laurens Office North Office

Schedule:
Monday
- Friday | 7AM - 4PM plus on call rotations
- The apprenticeship spans 4 to 5 years
- Includes on-the-job training and progressive skill development
- Wage increases are provided as program milestones are achieved
- Apprentices advance through defined levels based on performance, training completion, and demonstrated competencies
- Apprentices will complete a self-led coursework program through Northwest Lineman College, paid for by the cooperative, supporting technical education and industry best practices
Annual Pay
- Entry: $47,840, CDL Permit: $48,942.40, CDL License: $50,044.80
This is an hourly, non-exempt role eligible for overtime
