Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

• Fri 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and authorization, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident information in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate facility personnel and law enforcement as required.
• Complete required reports, maintain awareness of assigned areas, and operate assigned communications and security-related equipment in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
