Your purpose

As a Direct Material Procurement Manager, you develop, lead and drive global strategic sourcing categories. Your mission is to enable innovation, sustainability, and cost & cash efficiency while strengthening supplier partnerships and enabling our smoke‑free transformation.

Your 'day to day'
  • Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Relationship Management:
    Shape and lead long‑term strategies for direct materials, leveraging market intelligence and evolving sourcing models. Drive strategic supplier selection, relationship governance, complex tendering, and high‑impact negotiations to enable sustained value.
  • Supplier Ecosystem Management:
    Build resilient supplier networks and implement performance metrics to ensure agility and quality.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, Product development, Manufacturing and other departments to align procurement strategies with operational goals, and identify cost, product & process improvement opportunities.
  • Sustainability & Innovation:
    Champion responsible sourcing and supplier engagement on ESG topics including human rights, environmental impact, and business integrity. Co‑develop forward‑looking material solutions that meet sustainability targets and evolving consumer expectations.
  • Oversee operational tasks and tactical initiatives across the category, including supplier onboarding, raw material availability, data integrity, market share tracking, risk buying, and other day‑to‑day activities.

Who we're looking for Must have
  • Holds a degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain, with a foundation built for global impact.
  • Brings 10 years of progressive experience in procurement and adjacent functions, ready to scale into leadership.
  • Proven ability in supplier strategy, category ownership, and cross‑functional influence.
  • Strong in data‑driven decision‑making, project management skills, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven communication and storytelling skills.
  • Fluent in English, with multilingual capabilities as a growth asset.
  • Skilled in MS Office and adaptable to advanced procurement systems.
