Client Relationship Manager – Coaching Excellence Center The Job's Mission
  • is responsible for the growth of the CEC membership through the acquisition of new corporate clients.
  • is responsible for developing new relationships with target prospective clients.
Key Activities & Accountabilities
  • Work closely with the CEC Director to successfully engage and acquire new CEC clients:
    • Prepare proposals and responses to RFPs in an effective and timely manner
    • Support the Center Director in following up on client requests and opportunities
    • Expand and maintain client relationships in the assigned region and acquire new clients through the consistent application of IMD corporate development strategies, tools, policies and procedures
    • Prepare proposals for opportunities coming in with faculty and own the bidding of these from start to finish including the pitch
  • Calibrate client’s learning and development needs based and knowledge of how IMD can help and what possible L&D solutions may look like.
    • Develop close working relationship with the client’s key contacts.
    • Lead and coordinate learning journey with the Learning Managers, coaching team and other individuals involved in delivery. Monitor feedback
    • Enable cascading of IMD thought leadership throughout organizations via innovative instructional design and creative scalable delivery mechanisms
    • Conceive and orchestrate new diploma/program combinations
  • Meet expectations for activity and CRM documentation (contacts, accounts and custom opportunities) and overall approach.
  • Create presentations for sharing insights with clients
  • Produce summary reports at various phases of the project.
  • Support projects/work for addressing client engagement needs.
Education
  • Bachelor degree in business or other equivalent
  • Coaching certificate ideally with ICF credentials
Experience
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Business/Client Facing roles
  • Proven track record of interaction with C‑Suite and Senior Executive roles.
  • Experience in commercial support or quota-bearing roles
  • Must have sales/commercial strategy responsibilities

  • Ability to build credibility quickly with clients, constructively challenge client assumptions
  • Ability to deliver face to face sessions in front of a class

  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to sift through data from multiple sources
  • Strong Excel proficiency
  • Ability to work under pressure and ability to work on multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks accurately, on‑scope and on time
  • Pro‑active and comfortable taking initiatives
  • Can do, solution focused positive spirit
  • Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English
  • Open to travel as required.
