Senior Trust Officer (80-100%)

For one of our clients, an Independent Trust Company based in Lausanne, we are looking for a

As Senior Trust Officer, you will manage a complex portfolio of international trusts and companies, and act as a key contact for clients and intermediaries. Working within a small and collaborative team, this role requires autonomy, strong ownership and a hands‑on approach.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Independently administer a portfolio of complex trust and corporate structures
• Act as the main relationship manager for clients and professional intermediaries
• Oversee governance matters relating to trusts and companies
• Review and analyse legal, contractual and transactional documentation
• Participate in the onboarding of complex structures
• Conduct AML/KYC risk assessments and periodic file reviews
• Liaise with banks, tax advisers and legal counsel
• Contribute to the improvement of internal processes, controls and best practices
• Take an active role in daily operational matters

• 5–8 years of experience within a trust company (Swiss experience strongly preferred)
• Strong technical expertise in trust and corporate structures
• Experience handling complex and high‑value clients
• Good knowledge of FATCA and CRS
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• Positive, pragmatic and team‑oriented mindset suited to a small structure
• Fluent in French (mandatory) and English
• STEP qualification completed or in progress
