Position: Process Design & Optimization Lead - Must Be Within 2 Hrs of Pacific Time Zone

I’m helping Avance Consulting Group find a top candidate to join their team full-time for the role of Process Design & Optimization Lead - Must Be Within 2 Hrs of Pacific Time Zone .

You'll transform institutional infrastructure by leading end-to-end process optimization and design.

Compensation:

USD 75 - 95/hour

Location:

Remote (for United States and Canada residents)

What makes you a strong candidate:

  • You have +10 years experience in Business process design.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in Management consulting
  • You are an expert in Six Sigma Black Belt, Process optimization.
  • You are proficient in Agile methodologies, asset management, change management (CM), human-centered design, investment management, key performance indicators (KPIs), Lean Six Sigma.
  • English - Fully fluent

Responsibilities and more:

My client is seeking a Process Design & Optimization Lead to support a large-scale Institutional Infrastructure Initiative. This role will lead end-to-end process improvement efforts across multiple work streams, partnering with business and technology teams to design efficient and scalable operating processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple end-to-end process optimization work streams.
  • Analyze current-state processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
  • Design and implement future-state workflows and operating models.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
  • Leverage data and KPIs to monitor performance and inform decisions.
  • Collaborate with technology teams on automation solutions.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure knowledge transfer.
  • Support change adoption through structured change management practices.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years consulting or transformation leadership
  • 10+ years in process design.
  • Experience in asset management or financial services preferred.
  • Experience with business process reengineering and workflow design.
  • Experience defining business requirements or user stories.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Self-directed and outcome-focused.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or similar experience.
  • Design Thinking or Human-Centered Design experience.
  • Business process management framework knowledge.
